At NEPIC, we actively give back to the community through supporting three charities who, educate, care and support local people.

All three charities play an imperative role in giving back to the local community through different ways and means. It’s vitally important that we continue to support the charities in allowing them to provide the help they offer.

For over a decade we have been dedicated to supporting a Charity close to our industry, Children Challenging Industry and donated tens of thousands of pounds to support children in STEM learning.

We feel that its important to encourage young people to consider choosing STEM subjects at school, as it can open doors to a wide variety of opportunities within the chemical-processing sector.

Children Challenging Industry focuses on highlighting STEM opportunities for young people by building visible links between science education and its application in industry.

Through this work, they aim to increase the number of children considering a future within industry and science careers, whilst developing positive relationships with industry.

Within this time, we have helped the Charity create long lasting relationships with member companies who in turn, have donated thousands of pounds to the Charity.

Giving back to the community where our industry lives and breathes, is incredibly important to us.

The High Tide Foundation is an independent Charitable foundation, funded by businesses on Tees Valley, delivers life changing career experiences.

High Tide open young people’s eyes and minds to Tees Valley’s diverse career opportunities by providing real life work experience that increases understanding, improves skills, raises confidence, and builds aspirations.

Providing young people the opportunity to get a real feel of what our industry is like, is detrimental- we’d love to welcome the next up and coming cohort of Teesside talent!

More recently, we have formed a corporate partnership with Teesside Hospice, a charity that sits right in the heart of the community where NEPIC initially started.

Engaging with a Charity that does so much in the heart of the local area is something that we’ve always wanted to embrace.

The hospice change lives every day, by supporting people and families who have been affected by a terminal illness, ensuring they receive the best possible care and help them to live as long as possible.
