Cluster Connect is your opportunity to catch up with members, hear the latest news, promote developments and network with your target audience.
This free, monthly meeting brings together members and offers the opportunity to make introductions, develop connections and gain support and inspiration from industry colleagues, along with helping to raise your personal and business profile.
Our July event is hosted by Member MCE Group based in Stockton on Tees and will include a tour of their facilities.
This month we hear from three member businesses about their products and services that support the day to day operations of the process industry.
MCE Group – specialize in the service/overhaul of Control, Relief and Isolation Valves including actuation. As well as offering on-site valve servicing and diagnostics, they have a 19,000 sq ft state of the art service facility for outages. They stock a range of severe service, zero-leakage isolation valves, which are proven to save site energy.
EFAB – An EQUANS Company – based in Middlesbrough they have been providing high level engineering skills and construction expertise to the UK and internationally for over four decades. As a company they have helped to revolutionise construction and engineering capabilities for the Power, Utilities, Chemical and Renewables sectors.
Carroll & Meynell Transformers – an Eaglescliffe based company, they have excelled in the design and manufacture of high quality transformers and coil wound products for 50 years enabling them to become a market leader in the UK and abroad. They provide power solutions to a wide range of industries including renewables, construction, transport, mining and power distribution. As a business theyre preparing themselves for a major growth phase in their core markets.
This months event has a real Supply Chain feel to it !

Supply Chain North East brings together four key partners to work with over 800 businesses through to 2021, supporting them to identify opportunities in new and existing markets. An integral part of the North East Strategic Economic Plan, that has a vision to create 100,000 more and better jobs between 2014 and 2024. , Supply Chain North East is delivered across the region by RTC North, Generator, North East Automotive Alliance (NEAA) and North East Process Industry Cluster (NEPIC).
Supply Chain North East is a multimillion programme aimed at revolutionising the way SMEs diversify their offering and embrace new markets. The programme has received more than £3m of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund, which is part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
Trade association meetings have, in the past, been used as a forum for the establishment of cartels and they are therefore the subject of scrutiny by the UK Competition and Markets Authority.
