M&S Distributors t/a Masfix

With extensive experience in a wide variety of industries, Masfix are one of the market leaders for fixings, fasteners and tools in the North East. As our customer’s needs have increased and diversified, so have our products; from fasteners and tools into cutting, abrasives, PPE, workwear and much more. On top of this we provide a range of solutions and services including Kanban, vending machines and vendor managed inventory.

Founded in 1982 as M&S Distributors by Ron Slater and George Mordue the business is now run by sons Mark Slater and Ian Mordue. We have continued to grow and expand; including rebranding as Masfix in 2016. Our reputation for service excellence has recently enabled us to build a bespoke 6500 SQ FT extension to our existing warehouse. Based on the banks of the Tyne we can service the whole of the North East with our dedicated fleet or beyond via our courier network. Or if preferred drop into our trade shop and speak to one of our experienced team weekdays 8-5.

As a business we have ambitious environmental and social goals. We are working towards becoming a net zero organisation by 2023 as well as focusing heavily on our contribution towards the local community through our sponsorships, donations and recruitment policies.
