Britest Limited

Britest is a UK-based SME that utilises innovative tools and methodologies to support sustainable process design. The company works (inter)-nationally with organisations across the chemicals, materials, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals sectors, providing training and consultancy services to enable sustainable operations through better process understanding.

Britest’s expert technical facilitators use proprietary techniques to define, structure and translate knowledge into economic and environmental value. The company is committed to the continued development of a toolkit of methods for sustainable manufacturing, based on better understanding of the underlying engineering and physical processes.

Britest has an optional membership model, with companies paying an annual fee to access facilitation, consultancy and training services, and to apply the Britest tools and methodologies within their organisations. Britest’s current members are: AstraZeneca, Biogen, Johnson Matthey, Pfizer, Quotient Sciences, Robinson Brothers, and Sterling Pharma Solutions.

In addition, Britest provides day-rate consultancy services to wider industrial clients, with a track record of adding value through facilitated studies, HAZOP guidance, scale-up strategies and advice, and knowledge transfer. Training is another key aspect of the Britest business, with a range of technical training packages available for continual professional development, and a growing offering in professional skills training courses available to commercial and academic partners.
