Pollywood Ltd have a patent pending for a new waterproof coating for exterior products. Pollywood are also working with Northern Powergrid to develop their new tubular composite material that has a very high strength to weight ratio and incorporates naturally grown materials. Pollywood’s hollow composite pole application was seen by the electricity distribution industry, and we were requested to develop the pole to provide an alternative to the creosoted power line pole, since the electricity industry’s exemption from the ban on creosote will end soon. Development is continuing on Pollywood’s pole composite system.
