Overview:
Emotional intelligence encompasses skills of self-awareness, self-management, listening, communication, empathy, influencing, and what we often call great leadership. Emotional quotient accounts for 80% of our success in life and can be developed thanks to neuroplasticity. What the research on neuroscience tells us, is that our brain can be ‘rewired’ it can form and reorganize synaptic connections, especially in response to learning or experience.
Why it matters? Because in current environment, it is very common to feel overwhelmed, and while there are things that we cannot change, we can choose how we respond to our triggers and manage stress better, to increase our wellbeing, improve relationship, and enhance your leadership.
During this session, you will familiarise yourself with how to train your mind to develop emotional intelligence competencies in your workplace and personal life. We will learn how our brain works and will explain several methodologies based on mindfulness tools.
Unlock your power and learn why wellbeing in the workplace is more than a flux, it is critical for engagement and strongly correlate with business outcomes. Investing in your personal wellbeing is critical for sustained physical and mental health, and as leader, employee’s wellbeing is critical to deliver strong performance.

Marie Isabelle Fleuri, Health and Wellbeing Manager, SLB
Marie is the Health and Wellbeing Manger at SLB. She is leading the program ‘Unlock your power’ for SLB employees on emotional intelligence techniques to increase employee wellbeing, leadership, awareness on mental health and hence productivity. She has over 20 years of experience in supply chain occupying diverse positions during her career as Sourcing lead, Supply Chain manager, Manufacturing manager and Global manager around multinational locations in France, USA, Singapore, China, and Norway.
She is a Chartered Member of CIPS, holds a business management degree from Institute Superieur European de Gestion in France, MSc Supply Chain at MAI Bordeaux – KEDGE in France and MBA from New York University. She is a health coach, certified yoga instructor and SIY trainer by Search Inside Yourself Institute.
