IChemE is starting a new webinar series around finances. Do you know someone starting university this year? The first in the series is aimed at students who are moving into a new chapter of life.
Overview
Starting your degree is an exciting time, but it can also be financially challenging. For many, university is the first experience of living away from home and their first experience of the true value of money.
This webinar aims to help you make the most of every penny during university with top tips to help prevent financial stress overshadowing your experience.
Please note: while this webinar is accessible to a global audience, it will cover a number of subjects that are specific to students in the UK.
During this webinar, we will cover:
– budgeting
– emergency funds and unexpected expenses
– saving money and deals for students
– managing living costs
– banking and other financial services
– part-time jobs
– where to go for help
