Read more >Two key appointments have marked Durata’s first appearance at this week’s Data Centre World 2023 as the specialists in critical power infrastructure hit new heights.
Visitors to the interactive bespoke D978 stand at the ExCel can learn more about the impact that Teesside’s firmly established Durata has had on the data centre market.
As well as learning how Durata can build a modular data centre for anywhere in the world, visitors will be able to meet the business’ latest top tier recruits.
Jo Stiles has joined as head of data centre solutions and Lewis Cobb has been hired as head of modular data centre projects. Both have remits to lead Durata’s excellent and renowned services into new areas.
Durata’s managing director John McGee said: “The time is right to showcase what we do after ten years of attending DCW. It’s a chance for us to show how far we have come and cement ourselves as one of the biggest and best in the industry. “To have Jo and Lewis on board from March is another sign of our progress. We are no longer punching above our weight. “Jo has a proven track record in the data centre world and is a bit of a coup for us after a career working with big hitters and industry renowned businesses. “Lewis will lead us into new directions too. He has experienced a new market of modular buildings, and over the last five years he has been immersed in the modular construction of data centres.”
Jo boasts 20 years in the industry working in areas such as LV switchgear infrastructure, cooling, high security entrance solutions, generators, project management, lighting and design.
She said: “This is such an exciting prospect. There are a vast number of applications Durata can put themselves to. There are no limits to an extent because John is so open minded to what we can do to add to abilities. “DCW means getting the Durata brand in the marketplace and making Durata stand out.”
The Durata brand contributed to persuading Lewis to help the Middlesbrough-based company attack the modular data solutions market with even greater purpose. Lewis said: “Durata is more dynamic than I have seen elsewhere. There is an energy that emits from all the branding. “The DCW exhibition means starting with a bang. We are putting Durata on a centre stage and making people aware that modular data centres can be built off site, prefab, to bespoke requirements and ship those anywhere.
“Durata has an operation set-up that is incredibly unique, and I am here to give it direction, a market to go into with a bit of fire to get things done. I aim to turn Teesside into the home of modular data solutions.”
