Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) should be used to underpin our business activities but all too often the foundations are weak or unstable. Procedures can be long winded and hard to read or lacking in essential information, leading to differences in interpretation and process variation. This can have a negative impact on both safety and performance.

This course explores why this is and suggests practical ways to improve SOPs that will lead to better control and improvements in quality, cost, productivity, delivery and safety.
