Thorne and Derrick, based in Chester-le-Street, are expert suppliers of hazardous area and safety equipment for the process industry, working with an international customer base.

NEPIC prides itself on assisting in developing relationships between local companies, and despite Thorne and Derrick having met px Group previously through NEPIC events such as Engineering Connect, which opened up a connection for the two organisations to work together in the past, our most recent Expo, Meet the Members has enabled them to further strengthen their relationship.

Whilst exhibiting at the event, Thorne & Derrick sat down with Michael Arnold, business development director and Mark Kenrick, group SHEQ director of px Group for a mentoring session.

The sessions provided the opportunity for Thorne & Derrick to learn more about px Group and their current and future project opportunities and business requirements.

Speaking on the success of Meet the Members, Terry McDonald, business development manager at Thorne and Derrick said:
