Its celebrations all around for the team at Lynas Engineers as they acknowledge their third birthday!
The Wilton Centre-based company reached the milestone last week and chose to honour the occasion with a party for colleagues, contacts and friends.
Thursday 24th October saw Managing Director, Rob Lynas; host a gathering at their offices in Wilton Centre to help celebrate reaching three years as a growing business in the Tees Valley.
Rob said;
“It’s an exciting day for the company – we started from nothing so I’m incredibly proud of where we are today.”
Gary Marshall, Director of Steel River Cost and Project Management (SRCPM) attended the party and said;
“There’s some nice synergy between Lynas and SRCPM with us only being 2 years old – so it’s great to see another business celebrating an anniversary.”
The 10-strong team work on a variety of projects covering Infrastructure, Highway and Civil Engineering and Drainage Design to name a few – but Rob said:
“I want to thank everyone that has been involved in helping us grow so far – and for everyone joining us to celebrate; it’s great to see so many people here today.”
One guest at the birthday party was Andrew Stephens, Head of Business Development for Engie, he said;
“The Lynas team are brilliant – really hospitable, and this party shows that! But they really are a supportive team, great to work with.”
Reaching three years in business, Lynas Engineers have high hopes for growth for the future.
Wayne Farrell, Director of Lynas Engineers said;
“Reaching three years is really exciting, I’m really proud of what the team have accomplished – but we’d love to move forward, to grow and perhaps help influence and develop Tees Valley as a region too.
We love our Tees Valley, we get really excited to be working in and for it”.
The office party which included branded Lynas cake and orange-coloured food (to match their brand colours!) was a huge success, with guests already looking forward to the fourth birthday next year!
Happy Birthday Lynas, here’s to many more!
