In July, Wade CMC successfully completed a comprehensive one month shutdown of a pharmaceutical production plant in Hertfordshire, supporting nearly 1,000 people, including 423 offsite contractors. The project was preceded by a one month planning period. The project involved the complete closure of all systems on the process floor, service floor and ground floor, during which time entirely new permit and co-ordination systems were introduced. We are proud to say that we went above and beyond the standard requirements in our risk assessments and the shutdown was completed without any incidents.
