SPIE have been commissioned to create a BIM level 2 Building Information Model for the Manchester Engineering Campus Development (MECD) third floor textiles research and testing controlled environment suite at The University of Manchester.

This is a project in which SPIE are currently heavily involved with.

The project involves a 18-month design, supply, install and commission contract for a clean room at The University of Manchester, as part of a new build being constructed by Balfour Beatty.
