Ruby Mason joins us as our new events and sponsorship manager, where she will play a key role in organising and managing a variety of events that connect members, share industry insights and help foster business growth.

Ruby joins us from her role at Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation, where she has gained expertise in business development, event management and fundraising. Ruby will be continuing her role at the Foundation as she is deeply committed to driving positive change in the community, which will no doubt be a valuable asset to us here at NEPIC as she brings that same drive to her role with us, helping to create opportunities that benefit our people and our area.

With key skills in community engagement, Ruby has also worked to inspire the younger generation, taking part in employability programmes and careers talks throughout her previous role, which will ultimately aid her as we look to inspire future leaders and their career paths in the process industry with the work we do at NEPIC.

In her spare time, she is a dedicated volunteer and committee member at Assist Women’s Network, having been with the non-profit organisation since 2023, where she assists with social media, events and helps to support the organisation that aims to empower women across the region.

Speaking on her new role, Ruby said:

“Events are at the heart of NEPIC, it gives members an opportunity to network and provides them with a valuable platform to share their expertise whilst gaining industry insights. I’m excited to be a part of this and aiding our members on their journey.

“I’m already getting stuck in with the latest events ongoing at NEPIC, we currently have a few sponsorship packages remaining for our event highlight of the year, our Annual Industry Awards, so I welcome members to chat with me if they’d be interested in taking up one of these fantastic sponsorship opportunities.”
