On the 12th August 2015 at a container storage station at the Port of Tianjin, a series of explosions killed 173 people and injured hundreds of others. At the time it was not known what caused this devastating turn of events but in February 2016 it was concluded that an overheated container of dry Nitrocellulose was the cause of the initial explosion.
