Our onsite high-pressure nitrogen generation container package (HPN2 skid 8) provides the nitrogen to two high production fibre lasers.

It provides 42 Nm3/h of nitrogen and 480 Nm3 of storage at 99.99% purity. The customer was keen on the proposal made by Atlas Copco and its distributor TSB Engineering as we provided a one stop facility for nitrogen supply and servicing, giving them a single company to contact.

The on-site nitrogen generation is estimated to save around £2500 per month, compared to their previous bulk supply method.

We have two of these going into the region on two different processes.

The first is being commissioned next month and is being used to blanket chemicals in Middlesbrough.

The second will provide Nitrogen from a laser cutting application in Stockton.
