We have the pleasure of inviting you to our employer-student engagement event, SCENE 2025 aimed at process sector companies, to meet some future talent and forge closer ties with Newcastle University.

SCENE has a focus towards Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, but also looks to attract our other students in the Faculty of Science, Agriculture & Engineering. The event will follow a trade show format, allowing your organisation to showcase its work on a stand and inform students about workplace opportunities with you such as grad schemes and placements.

Event Details:
• Date: Tuesday 18 March 2025
• Time: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm (10-11am set-up)
• Venue: Lindisfarne Room, Hadrian Building, King’s Road, Newcastle University, NE1 7RU
• Fee: We are asking for £10 per head to help us cover the basic costs to host this event and continue to offer more and more to our students regarding industrial engagement. This will be payable before the event.
• The venue will be available for setup from 10:00 am, with student attendance starting at 11:00 am.
