Read more >The first workshops held have provided lively debate and lots of learning. Feedback has clearly shown a challenge around gathering base line data on emissions from farms – what’s included, what’s not, how to go about it, what tools to use, how the results compare with other farms etc etc. We will now be diving into more of the detail and working towards delivering solutions.
The next workshop, on Thursday 7th March, 10-2pm, held at Cockle Park Farm, will investigate the different phases and decision points on the journey to carbon auditing, with farmers sharing their real world experiences and industry bodies and policy makers contributing to the regional and national picture.
These workshops will shape future policy decisions and support for Northumberland farmers, so please come along to get your voice heard. Book your place below,
Thursday 7th March, 10am – 2pm
Cockle Park Farm, NE61 3DZ
Lunch will be provided, so please let us know if you have any dietary requirements, and we are happy to reimburse travel costs.
