With the business celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, it has continued to flourish in the delivery of outstanding engineering services in the fields of Materials, Mechanical, Inspection & NDT and Process Safety supporting clients throughout the asset life cycle.
At the heart of this success is the recruitment of the right people within a customer-centric environment, committed to hard work and the delivery of excellence in engineering. Finding experienced staff with these qualities is only one part of the story as AXIOM are keen to invest and seek out local talent who can learn, thrive and become ambassadors of the future.
Jack Dobson joined the business directly from completing his degree in Chemical Engineering at Newcastle University.
AXIOM also welcomes Chloe Mowbray who graduated from Teesside University in Chemical Engineering and went onto achieve a Post Graduate Diploma in Petroleum Engineering. She has also gained experience as a Production Planner from local chemical operator, Banner Chemicals.
Both graduates aim to deliver further support to the process safety team, focussing on pressure relief calculations and datasheet development, modelling in Aspen HYSYS and creating and updating P&IDs. They will also undertake the role of Scribes in both HAZID & HAZOP studies.
Amanda Garvey Kovac, Group Process Safety Manager said, “I am delighted to welcome Jack and Chloe to our growing Process Safety Engineering team. They bring enthusiasm, curiosity, their passion for process safety and are keen to develop their technical skills and work towards chartered engineer status.”
AXIOM are confident that these two new additional team members will make impactful strides towards both their own personal development but contribute to the ambitious strategic objectives of the business.
