Read more >We have recently welcomed Paul Frankland as our new operations director, but Paul is no stranger to the North East process industry.
Many of our members will be familiar with Paul from his extensive 40-year history in the petrochemical industry, having begun his journey at ICI, then delivering innovative service solutions through various senior leadership roles, including VP at Sembcorp Energy UK and operations director at Falck Fire Services.
Having previously been a member of NEPIC prior to joining us and having vast experience in supporting global businesses, Paul understands the membership, its extensive network and needs, putting him in a perfect position to support our members.
Paul aims to bridge the gap between members and our NEPIC team, making us a closer resource than ever:
“I’m extremely passionate about the region and the companies that drive it, having been a NEPIC member with my previous organisations, I know the ins and outs of the network and understand where the pain points are for members and how we can continue to be a valuable resource for companies throughout the region.”
Paul has hit the ground running to ensure members are utilising their membership to its full capability and has set up member drop-in sessions running throughout May and June, which aims to teach members how to use our online platform Members’ Hub, providing members with unlimited news uploads and coverage across our social media channels.
Outside of work Paul is just as passionate about the local community, he is volunteer and trustee director of Hornby Park and Seaton Carew Cricket Club and can often be found fundraising, preparing wickets, coaching and mentoring young players.
Paul will be around at most of our events if you’d like to grab him for a chat about membership, alternatively you can get in touch via email: paul.frankland@nepic.co.uk.
If you’re interested in the member drop in sessions, taking place on 22 May, 29 May and 5 June 10:00 – 11:00 at the Wilton Centre, email Victoria stating which date you’d like to join us: victoria.pepper@nepic.co.uk.
