At the end of last week DIT launched our consultation on Trade with the Gulf Cooperation Council (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates).

DIT are keen to know what UK companies and Trade Associations think about:

• The UK’s current trading arrangements with the GCC nations.
• Where we could make changes or improvements.

DIT will use this information to help inform our approach for starting negotiations on a free trade agreement with the GCC in the future and the consultation closes at 11.45 PM on 14 January 2022. Companies and organisations can access the consultation here.
