JULABO UK have a team of 7 but we have just recruited our 8th and newest member who will join us in September to cover Ireland. With a growing market both in the UK and Ireland it will take the stress off me having to go over there so much.
Since moving to our purpose made facility in Stamford in Lincolnshire, with training/demo room, warehousing and servicing facilities we have been able to develop much more rapidly. We also now carry around £800K worth of JULABO units in UK stock giving our customers very quick turnarounds from time of order compared to our competitors’ whose lead times are seemingly being extended.

At the same time, JULABO Gmbh, who are a family owned business based in Seelbach, within the Black Forest region in Germany, have announced that they are to build a new production facility. This will be built down the road in Lahr next to a distribution company. With links directly to the autobahn and near t the Basle-Mulhouse-Freiburg airport, this will be a much welcomes and an excellent expansion to the business. R&D, Training and all the administration roles will remain in Seelbach near to where most of the 400+ workers live. The new facility is in Lahr because it also opens up the possibility for more new apprentices and workers to join the JULABO family and has a larger catchment area. Read more in the link
