JULABO are becoming greener and greener as we advance with the science and technology. Both our UK and German facilities already have solar power to use as the energy source to drive the facilities and our state of the art German factory has also been built using “green” materials and glass.

JULABO UK are already the largest supplier of chillers to Academia on mainland Britain to save water. Now we are looking at the electrical and GWP impact of the gasses that we use in our machines too.

With the introduction of the new refrigerated circulators 1800F, 2500F, 1200FW, and 200F, JULABO now offers environmentally friendly and energy-efficient units across the entire performance range from 200 Watts to 2500 Watts:
• Climate-friendly:
All refrigerated circulators operate with natural, environmentally friendly refrigerants, contributing significantly to mitigating global warming.
• Up to 70% of Energy Savings:
The larger cooling units (starting at 800 Watts of cooling capacity) feature new hardware components such as speed-controlled compressors that allow for usage-dependent power consumption. The resulting cost savings lead to a faster amortization of acquisition costs.
• Compact Design:
JULABO’s latest circulators, while delivering high performance, maintain a remarkably compact design, optimizing laboratory space.

We are unaware of anyone else using the same technology, in our industry, to drive down the electrical consumption.
