Read more >The Education Training Collective (Etc.) is a group of vibrant, forward-facing colleges (Stockton Riverside College, Bede Sixth Form College, Redcar & Cleveland College, NETA Training Group and the Skills Academy) delivering high quality education and training to young people and adults across the Tees Valley and beyond.
We are proud to serve our local communities by helping people gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to reach their full potential.
We are looking to further strengthen our dedicated and enthusiastic Governing Body and would love to hear from people with insight, ideas and a commitment to the value of teaching and training.
Our colleagues and learners come from a broad and diverse demographic and we welcome applications from those of all ages and cultural backgrounds, with a varied range of skills and experience.
We are particularly interested in applicants with experience in finance, estates and Human Resources,
but the broader your expertise and cultural experience, the better.
This voluntary role will place you at the heart of decision-making for our communities – as well as bringing you personal and professional rewards, and unique opportunities to develop your skills and experience.
Although the post is not remunerated, expenses will be reimbursed. The minimum commitment is equivalent to around one day per month but there are opportunities to be much more involved in specialist committees and link governor roles.
We see safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people as one of our top priorities and expect all governors to share this commitment.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
