Read more >Industrial and Marine Hydraulics (IMH) has recruited an operations manager and service manager to support its project and service teams.
Headquartered in Middlesbrough, UK, IMH delivers major hydraulic engineering projects and offers services across design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, maintenance and repairs, as well as component supplies and training.
The appointments have been made in line with IMH’s five-year growth plan.
This has seen the business open a new facility at the Port of Blyth, which is equipped to provide full onsite service and inspection operations, and make significant investments in machinery and an ERP system, which is reshaping how the business operates and is generating process efficiencies.
Jonathan Marley, who has 14 years project and operational management experience and performed a number of roles at pumping solutions specialist Sulzer has been appointed as Operations Manager.
He will have day-to-day responsibility for operational efficiency and quality control across the service and maintenance work streams of IMH and will manage the execution of all longer-term major project commitments.
Joining as part of the senior management team, he will also be responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvement measures across the business.
Chris Mosley, who has been appointed as Service Manager, will work closely with Jonathan and lead IMH’s fast-paced service delivery team.
Chris spent 20 years with the British Army, working his way up to Avionics Supervisor / Flight Line Crew Chief, where he co-ordinated maintenance support on various aircraft in high-pressure environments.
This experience will be invaluable when working in the demanding and responsive environment at IMH, which is driven by the complex needs of its customers.
