Formed in 1995, our apprenticeship programme has launched the careers of more than 20 engineers with our latest recruits bringing its total to 28 apprentices.
Through our partnership with Hartlepool College of Further Education, we have appointed Josh Bearby, who has completed his 2nd year Engineering Apprenticeship and is undertaking a HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
In addition, Sam Bullock, a first year Multi Skilled Apprentice is completing day release at Hartlepool College and Ben Hogg, a Multi Skilled Apprentice, is completing his 2nd year.
The apprentices join Liam Burns, a Multi Skilled Apprentice, who joined in February this year. As a cohort, they will benefit from theory taught at the college as well as the hands-on practical experience provided by our team of experienced hydraulic engineers, who work across a range of industries.
In addition to our new apprentices, we have appointed experienced mechanical and pipe fitting engineer, Karl Poole, as Service Engineer.
With more than 15 years’ experience, Karl is a welcomed addition to the team with extensive offshore platform and vessel knowledge, having worked on jack ups and FPSOs.
A fully qualified and experienced heavy plant mechanic, Karl has in-depth skills in pipe fitting principles, repair and maintenance operations as well as an understanding of hydraulic and hydrogen systems.
By engaging with IMH, companies can tap into our deep source of hydraulic engineering talent from consultation and initial specification through to design and delivery. We provide customers with peace of mind through the provision of expert advice and support.
James Griffiths, Managing Director, IMH commented: “I’m delighted that in our 40th year we are continuing to regularly appoint apprentices to our training programme, as well as extending the experience of our team.
“Our new employees are already having a positive impact on the team and our customers, I look forward to supporting their future career aspirations.”
