Last week we were joined by colleagues from BEIS & DEFRA for an informative and interactive EX Exit session that welcomed 70 members from across manufacturing and the supply chain.
This session was delivered to support the networks understanding the potential impacts of EU Exit across key areas such as regulations, movement of people and customs/border processes.
Government officials also highlighted key actions businesses need to take now to continue trading in a ‘no-deal’ scenario and talked through guidance that is available to help members understand the changes and plan ahead.
This session was very much the start of a longer-term conversation between our industry and policy advisors. If you have any questions that you’d like NEPIC to raise on your behalf, please Louise Gwynne-Jones or Amanda Rowan, and we will ensure these are passed on to the right contact. In the meantime, an electronic copy of the presentation is now available on-line.
