Meet your potential workforce of the future and other like minded business people at this networking event with a difference

Join us for the launch of Building Our Future, a new exciting Primary School careers programme for Redcar and Cleveland.

Developed by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council and funded by Anglo American, the programme is designed to make careers education more meaningful to children from a young age, by introducing them to local businesses on their door-step.

With the support of employees from these businesses, the children learn first-hand about local industry sectors and job opportunities; experiencing what they could become in the future. In addition to developing the skills employers are looking for in their workforce recruitment.

At the launch event you will have the opportunity to meet some of the children and employers who have taken part in the pilot programme and learn how you and your employees can get involved.

The morning will start at 8.30am with networking, coffee and breakfast rolls.

Presentations will commence at 9.00am and at 9.30am there will be a chance for you to ask questions and meet some of the people involved in the programme.
