One of our Spanish partners clients specialised in the field of human physiology, nutrition and biochemistry has developed an innovative pharmaceutical composition from 5-dodecanolida involved in inflammatory response. This active ingredient has been insulated from the pig lard through specific treatment.

The present invention require low concentrations of the active ingredient, showing a high anti-inflammatory power. In addition to this, the active ingredients of pig lard have never been described before as anti-inflammatory activity so this treatment opens a new field of study.

Pharmaceutical companies engaged in the development of innovative anti-inflammatory drugs are being sought for a license agreement.
