Creating and nurturing a strong connection between children and Industry through our NEPIC partners, has always been at the heart of CIEC’s activity. We see the value in this now more than ever, as we ask for your support to reach children at home.

In the past few weeks CIEC has quickly adapted our method for delivering engaging and educational classroom resources with an industry context, creating IndusTRY AT HOME, online activities which can be carried out with ease in the home with minimal input from parents.

‘Best Bubbles’ was circulated two weeks ago and has received excellent feedback, being set by teachers as online learning tasks, shared on social media by parents looking for lockdown learning tips and promoted via email to our extensive mailing list of schools across the country.

With your help we would like to develop further online learning resources that can give children, isolated at home, the chance to learn and be inspired by the science around them.

We are asking NEPIC members to sponsor an online activity for £1000 each.

With your funding we will:

• adapt a CIEC industry-focused practical activity for children to carry out at home
• include your logo on the downloadable resource
• promote your support through our online and social media outlets
• provide a short sample press release for you to let your contacts know about the
fantastic encouragement you are providing to young people at this challenging
time

We estimate that with this support you could reach thousands of children at a time when they need your investment the most.
