Following Augean’s recent acquisition of Future Industrial Services, our support to the North East has expanded rapidly.

With our Berwick-upon-Tweed facility already providing many of the industrial chemical and process plants with specialist industrial cleaning and waste management services, the recent acquisition has enabled us to provide. a more diverse range of recycling, recovery, treatment and disposal services for hard to handle wastes, with access to a larger geographical footprint of permitted infrastructure.

Augean’s Port Clarence site operates a treatment facility, supported by non-hazardous and hazardous landfills. It is also home to our Waste Recovery Park facility, which receives a wide range of hazardous/chemical wastes and carries out a broad spectrum of waste treatment activities for subsequent recycling and recovery.

We operate an open-door policy, so a visit can be arranged by appointment with the Site Manager:

We are fully permitted and accredited to BS EN ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. Specialising in hard to handle wastes, we process waste streams such as contaminated soils sludges, process wastes and filter cakes from industrial and commercial processes, as well as residues from renewable energy plants and contaminated dredged sediment, focussing on delivering best environmental outcomes.
