In March 2023, Augean completed the acquisition of Future Industrial Services Limited which is now part of the Augean Group.

Future Industrial Services Limited is a leading provider of hazardous waste management and Specialist Industrial Services to blue-chip clients, including government entities, local authorities and national / multi-national organisations.

Augean specialises in managing hard to handle wastes. Augean has UK waste treatment and disposal infrastructure, focussing on delivering best environmental outcomes, servicing the Energy from Waste and Biomass, Construction, Nuclear and Radioactive, Processing and Manufacturing, and the Oil and Gas sectors.

Benefitting our customers and supply chains, the combined business will offer a more diverse range of recycling, recovery, treatment and disposal services for hard to handle wastes, with access to a larger geographical footprint of permitted infrastructure – the Augean Group now has 23 sites throughout England, Wales and Scotland – as we continue to deliver the best environmental outcomes for our customers’ wastes.

For Specialist Industrial Services, Future Industrial Services is a UK market leader and provides maintenance support for the Energy, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, Utilities and Cement sectors across England and Wales. With Augean’s existing presence in Scotland, there will be greater opportunities for the enlarged Augean Group to offer Specialist Industrial Services throughout the UK.
