8 – 14th February 2021 was an exciting week in the Apprenticeship calendar and at Atlantic Projects Company we are keen to continue supporting this initiative.

Apprenticeships, together with training and development of our workforce are key to securing the future of our industry.

APC employ several Apprentices, including Sam, our hardworking HR Apprentice.

Through a local college, we are sponsoring her Level 3 Business and HR Administration course and she hopes to become chartered in her CIPD in the future.

Sam said:

“APC appealed to me as they are a large company with opportunities in the UK, Ireland and USA.

“I am involved in construction projects, as well as maintenance overhauls on power plants.

“I have already been involved in all stages of the employment process from new hires, appraisals, and redundancies.

“I am based in the head office, but my varied role means I also spend time on site.”
