Read more >The 2022 IChemE BESIG Annual Technical Meeting will be focusing on how biomanufacturing is expected to evolve by the end of the decade.
Digitalisation, Industry 4.0, Information Management, Smart Manufacturing & New Modalities have been popular terms for quite a while but implementation of the so-called digital transformation has to first deal with and address both practical problems and technical limitations.
This one day meeting is designed as an interactive, hands on, learning forum where bioprocess scientists and practitioners can gain insights into the challenges of integrating new technologies from real-life case studies and analyse step-by-step the transformation process through moderated Q&A sessions.
The meeting will also host an invited talk from the winner of the 2022 Donald Medal Award for their outstanding services to biochemical engineering.
Extended coffee and lunch breaks will ensure there is sufficient time for networking.
Confirmed Speakers:
David Quartey, Oxford Biomedica – “All Data Great and Small”
Rose Morley, FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies – “Review by Exception of Manufacturing Records”
Andrew Matthews, Siemens – “Enabling Transformational Change”
Professor Gary Lye, University College London – “Smart Manufacturing & New Modalities”
Andrew Matthews, Siemens – “Enabling transformational change”
Kunal Rehani, Cytiva – “PD Lab of the Future”
