Leading training provider, AIS Survivex has strengthened its engineering and construction offering with the addition of the ECITB SBT 02 Assemble and Install Small Bore Tubing with Core & Threaded Medium and High-Pressure Module course.

Following approval from The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) in early 2023, SBT 02 has been running weekly at AIS Survivex in Aberdeen and is now being launched at its Newcastle training centre.

SBT 02 will be offered in Newcastle from Tuesday 30th May 2023.

Aimed at those responsible for the installation and assembly of cone and threaded connections, the course is the next level of progression for technicians who have completed the SBT 01 qualification.

Small bore tubing failures are widely reported as one of the biggest causes of hydrocarbon releases in the oil and gas industry so training in the correct assembly and installation of small tubing systems is critical.
