Conor Ryan has recently joined us as our sustainability accounts manager, where his role is pivotal in fostering collaboration among our members to tackle industry challenges and provide mutual support. He actively works to ensure that our members are working together to solve issues that arise within the sector.
In addition, Conor is the primary contact for members who are interested in presenting at a Decarbonisation Innovation Special Interest Group (SIG). He recently organised and facilitated the latest SIG event, which featured previous speakers offering updates on their current projects, while also providing valuable networking opportunities. Conor will also be involved with the upcoming Clean Growth Conference at Hardwick Hall on the 10th of June.
Upon joining NEPIC, Conor shared:
“NEPIC’s focus on collaboration across the industry to drive growth, find solutions to common challenges, and make a positive impact in the North East is something I am passionate about. I’m excited to be a part of that mission.”
Currently, Conor is pursuing a master’s degree in green economy at Bournemouth University, alongside his full-time role. The insights gained from his studies are helping him drive sustainability initiatives at NEPIC and in turn, help our members.
If you’d like to attend our conferences, Cluster Connects, connect with other members or participate in a Special Interest Group, feel free to reach out to Conor at conor.ryan@nepic.co.uk.
