Last week, members of the Projex Solutions team had the pleasure of attending the 2025 Yorkshire Regional IMechE Dinner at the stunning Cutlers’ Hall in Sheffield.

Several members of the Projex Solutions team attended alongside their partners, including Brian Lawson, Andrew Morton, Adrian Fawcette, Ashley Hyde, and Paul Hadman, joined by guest Dan Wells.

This prestigious evening brought together engineers, business leaders, and dignitaries to celebrate the achievements of our profession and inspire the next generation.

It was a particularly proud moment for our Technical & Quality Director, Brian Lawson, who previously served as Yorkshire Regional Chair (2021–2023). Brian noted how valuable the evening was – not just for catching up with industry peers – but for seeing an increasing number of young engineers involved in the profession.

As part of our continued support, Projex Solutions once again sponsored the presentation gifts that were awarded to new IMechE Members, Fellows, and competition winners.

It was also a pleasure to reconnect with John Bohan, Senior Director at Elevation Recruitment Group and one of the main sponsors of the night, who shared how his team continues to support engineering recruitment across all disciplines, while actively championing engineering activities through professional bodies like the IMechE.
