This year, Projex Solutions is proud to celebrate five incredible years at The Wilton Centre in Teesside. Since opening our second office on 6th January 2020, our journey has been shaped by resilience, growth, and adaptability. As we look back on our time at The Wilton Centre, we’re also excited to share our vision for the future and how this location has become an integral part of our story.

A Journey of Growth and Adaptation

When we first opened our doors at The Wilton Centre in January 2020, we could not have anticipated the challenges that lay ahead. Just like everyone in the UK, our plans were quickly disrupted by the national lockdown in March 2020 thanks to Covid19. However, this pivotal moment accelerated our adoption of hybrid working, allowing us to create a flexible model that now defines our operations.

Today, our Wilton Centre team includes a team of talented Technical Authority Engineers and EC&I Designers. They work on-site or remotely and meet weekly at The Wilton Centre. This setup not only reflects our forward-thinking employment policies but also addresses the challenge of recruiting locally-based engineers in the area.

The Wilton Centre has proven to be the perfect base for Projex Solutions. Located in the heart of Teesside’s thriving industrial landscape, it offers unparalleled opportunities for collaboration and growth. The site’s flexible facilities, ample space for expansion, and proximity to key contracts make it an ideal hub for our operations.

Managing Director Jamie Ashton reflects: “We’ve had a positive experience at The Wilton Centre. I think over the next two years we plan to double the team, and that will also allow us to start thinking about apprenticeships here.”

Looking Ahead: Focus on Teesside

With 36 employees now working across our two offices, Projex Solutions has ambitious plans for the future. We aim to expand our presence at The Wilton Centre by doubling the size of our team and creating new apprenticeship opportunities to nurture local talent. This growth aligns with our mission to deliver engineering excellence while supporting the communities where we operate.

The Wilton Centre marks a significant chapter in our journey. From our main head office in Brighouse, established in September 2012, to our expansion into Teesside in 2020, every milestone reflects our commitment to innovation, adaptability, and growth. As we celebrate this 5-year anniversary, we remain dedicated to delivering world-class engineering design and project management solutions.
