Read more >Charlotte joined our team as pharmaceutical project manager in September of this year, working to support our pharmaceutical manufacturing members across the North East. Her work will centre on a publicly-funded project, funded by North East Combined Authority, which involves organising and facilitating a series of events for our pharmaceutical members.
Charlotte brings a strong technical background in biopharmaceutical R&D, having recently finished her PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Bristol developing a novel vaccine technology, which is presently pending viva examination. In addition to this, Charlotte has worked as a research scientist for a vaccine technology startup and has previous experience of supporting publicly funded business support projects through work at a different organisation.
Charlotte has strong ties to the region, having grown up in Teesside, and is committed to supporting the sustainable growth of the North East’s pharmaceutical sector.
Speaking with Charlotte about her new position, she commented: “I’m excited to step into this new role and I’m really looking forward to supporting NEPIC’s pharmaceutical manufacturing members as we progress throughout the project.
“If any supply chain companies within the membership have applications related to pharmaceuticals, please get in touch and I’ll be happy to assist you with this.”
