Drawing on Newcastle University’s sector-leading expertise in electrification and developed with industry partners, this apprenticeship programme will ensure your organisation has the skills and expertise needed to drive critical engineering innovation in electrification and advanced manufacturing.
The four-year apprenticeship will help your organisation attract and train new talent and support the retention and development of your existing team. Designed to be flexible around working roles, the programme enables professionals to study alongside their current role, taught one day a week on our Newcastle University campus.
Specialisms are taught separately in the fourth year in which apprentices develop advanced skills in one of three areas:
• Batteries
• power electronics, machines and drives
• advanced manufacturing
The fully-funded programme (95% funded for SMEs) is recruiting now for its September 2024 intake. Find out more.
