FEG Global has welcomed Shola Ogunrinde as Senior Project Engineer.

Shola, based in Manchester for FEG, has made an immediate impact for a large brewing client in the North West, providing on-site project management for various greenfield developments and civil engineering projects.

Following a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Benin, Nigeria, Shola then moved into a role at one of the biggest food manufacturing companies in Nigeria, where he stayed for almost 10 years before moving to the UK to complete his master’s degree in Quantity Surveying at the University of Salford.

Shola followed this with a move into his new position at FEG Global and has quickly integrated himself as a valued member of the team.

“I love the social and physical aspects that come with my role; being on site, meeting with other project managers, engineers and site managers. I find the knowledge sharing and collaboration really helps improve the end result and creates a culture where everyone is learning from each other,” Said Shola.

Shola brings seasoned expertise in project management, operational improvement, contract negotiation and needs analysis. His practical and creative approach enabled him to make an immediate impact on projects – though the UK weather means that sometimes things have to be done differently – such as waiting for the right temperature to pour concrete!
