Over the last 15 years, DOW Benelux, the Netherland’s largest integrated chemical site, has been implementing a water reuse strategy. Evides Industriewater has provided the water innovation to ensure its success.

At ChemUK 2023, Colin Robinson, the UK Business Manager, will be presenting the journey both DOW and Evides Industriewater have been taking to ensure the site’s sustainable future. Colin will describe how DOW has implemented nature-based solutions across the whole site unlocking significant efficiency gains, reduced their reliance on mains drinking water, reduced their cost of chemicals for water treatment, and enabled a significant reduction in the site’s carbon footprint. By 2026, 100% of the site’s water will come from reuse equating to a staggering 10 billion litres each year.
