Skills and Talent workshops from North East Chamber of Commerce

The Government has tasked the North East England Chamber of Commerce with working alongside businesses in Newcastle/North Tyneside, Northumberland, Tees Valley to understand their needs and create a blueprint for skills and training to take the region’s economy forward.

This plan will then be made statutory and put into law.

We believe that every business has an interest in improving the North East’s skills system. That’s why we need your views on the two simple questions that will guide these workshops:

1) Which skills do you find it difficult to source/recruit?

2) If you could change one thing about the local skills system, what would it be?

These workshops presents a unique opportunity for you to speak up and skill up! Your views will be crucial in creating a skills and training blueprint that meets the needs of businesses and the wider community.
