Join us to find out how the Tees Valley Industrial Cluster can meet the net zero 2040 objective and understand the opportunities for the rest of the industry. Tees Valley is at the centre of delivering a high growth, high wage economy built around sustainable manufacturing and energy production. The region has significant advantages from its industrial heritage, skills, integrated infrastructure and North Sea coastal location to build the new decarbonised industries – Carbon Capture Usage & Storage, a Hydrogen Super Place and a hub for circular economy activity including sustainable fuels and chemical production. Tees Valley Combined Authority, NEPIC and bp have been developing the Cluster Plan over the past two years. At this launch event you’ll hear the key learnings from the work and the way ahead from here. Also joining us to share their knowledge will be the key stakeholders – Innovate UK, Government (BEIS/Energy Security and Net Zero), the East Coast Cluster, the Northern Endurance Partnership andthe Carbon Capture & Storage Associationas well as current and future decarbonised industrial projects and cluster companies. Breakfast will be provided from 08:30am with time for networking ahead of a 9:00am start. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided throughout the day.
