Read more >Time is running out for North of Tyne and Tees Valley businesses to engage with the new Government initiative, the Local Skills Improvement Plans (LSIPS).
The LSIPs will see employers and taking part in a comprehensive assessment of skills requirements to ensure the correct provision is in place to meet those needs and we avoid skills gaps in the future.
A call to action has been issued for all employers in the North of Tyne and Tees Valley to share their skills requirements now and in the future through a survey (link here: LSIP Survey (neechamber.co.uk). These views are needed by the end of February at the latest. The Survey will then make recommendations on skills provision to businesses in this sector in the North of Tyne and Tees Valley.
The North East England Chamber of Commerce are leading the project supported by the Department for Education. To find out more please click here, and if you have any questions, please contact, lsipcomms@neechamber.co.uk.
