We are absolutely delighted to be able to announce that Alex Thompson has been appointed as our Engineering Director at our North East office in Middlesbrough, commencing from the 1st of January 2023.

Alex will play a pivotal role in driving forward the development of our Riverside Park office, servicing and supporting an expanding customer base in the area, along with working together with our other North West offices.

Alex closely shares our company ethos, of providing excellent levels of customer service, aiming to exceed client expectations and consistently delivering a high-quality service. We do this in a positive and proactive manner, overcoming obstacles and providing solutions for our customers.

Over his career Alex has worked extensively for both contracting and operating companies. He started here with us at Addison as a Process Engineer, stepping up to officially lead the Process Engineering team in early 2022. Alex is a chartered Chemical Engineer with vast experience covering a broad range of industries including LNG, LPG, Ammonia, Large volume organic chemicals, upstream oil and gas, Biodiesel and speciality chemicals.

Having already proved his capabilities to us whilst developing and managing our process engineering department, we are thrilled and excited that he accepted this position to spearhead the office.
