The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) have published the summary of responses and government response to the consultation on extending the UK REACH submission deadlines.

The consultation exercise ran for 8 weeks before closing on 1 September 2022.

There were 20 questions in the consultation document. Seven of these were background questions about the respondents, providing important contextual information. The summary is a high-level overview of the main messages from the consultation responses, reflecting the views offered. It also provides a government response to these messages.
