Read more >The Department for International Trade (DIT) is delighted to invite businesses from across the Northern Powerhouse to submit an expression of interest to participate in a virtual trade mission to Germany. The programme is designed for businesses who operate in the Chemical and Pharmaceuticals sectors, and associated supply chains.
North Rhine-Westphalia is Germany\’s principal chemical industry location, with approximately one third of the industry’s revenue coming from this region.
Since the pandemic, global supply chains are being reconfigured. Creating some clear opportunities for large scale investments, with a view to achieving fewer supply chain disruptions. Covid-19 has also created space for innovation within technological developments such as polymer recycling, 3D printing and integrating a longer-term renewable energy source.

Introductions to in-market representatives including agents and distributors
Advice on how to set up an entity in North Rhine-Westphalia
Guidance on how to sell services in Germany
Virtual meetings with potential buyers
