Hosted on LinkedIn, it has been designed to signpost the opportunities available for workers across the energy supply chain and wider engineering industry, to move into exciting new careers to support the energy transition to net zero.
The newsletter, hopes to strike a good balance to introduce new technology and initiatives to those people who are not yet familiar with the latest net zero advancements, as well as provide practical opportunities to benefit from the energy transition, such as highlighting the latest roles available.
Discussing the newsletter, NRL’s Group Head of Marketing Ruth Harper said,
“Across our UK and international branches we’re increasingly being asked to manage low carbon and net zero job opportunities for our clients, as they roll out their own strategies to advance the energy transition.
We’ve supported the energy sector since the early 1980s, so have seen first hand the opportunities for candidates to transfer their knowledge to new power generation methods.
The exciting new green energy initiatives will provide hundreds and thousands of new roles, so we felt it was important to raise awareness of the job opportunities being created as a result of all this positive change.
To meet net zero targets, they’ll be a huge amount of activity across the energy supply chain, so disciplines from technical engineers to electricians will have the opportunity to develop their skills and expertise in these emerging energy sectors. Through Net Zero News, we aim to help as many people as possible boost their career – and the LinkedIn newsletter allows us to deliver this news directly to their email inbox.”
Anyone interested can subscribe to the monthly newsletter on LinkedIn.
