Read more >TWI, one of the world’s foremost independent research and technology organisations, with expertise in materials joining and engineering processes, is actively supporting entrepreneurship and the economic growth of companies in Tees Valley helping them maximise both current and future trading opportunities.
SMEs and Entrepreneurs are invited to take advantage of fully funded, free assistance from TWI through two distinct business support programmes dedicated to Tees Valley:
1. Materials Integrity Technology Transfer (MITT), a programme geared at helping firms achieve sustainable growth by increasing profitability and competitiveness. Through the scheme, individual companies receive tailored, practical advice on best practices in tackling their fabrication and welding issues. MITT will give you free access to globally respected, authoritative and impartial expert advice, knowhow and safety assurance through engineering, materials and joining technologies.
2. Tees Valley Innovation Accelerator (TIA) programme launches a series of courses designed to help Tees Valley based SMEs grow through innovation, raise investment and access to funding. Assistance covers the areas of business modelling, innovation road mapping and expert IP advisory, grant proposal writing support and funding advisory, marketing strategy.
Both programmes are delivered by TWI with prototype development being provided by Teesside University our TIA delivery partner. Both TWI and Teesside University are world leaders in the entrepreneur support industry with decades of experience and thousands of entrepreneurs supported all over the world.
